In 2019, increasing the repurchase rate (by 2 points) can be considered as equivalent to increasing payroll taxes by 1.6% (no additional pension points). The increase in the facial rate above the social security ceiling (past wage brackets 2 or B or C) to 17% leads to a 3.4% increase in contributions for AGIRC and 4.9% for ARRCO. The increase in the facial rate implies an increase in the LR delivered pension (additional attributed pension points). Added to other measures (merging of wage brackets 2, B and C, extension of AGFF above bracket C) aimed at increasing contributions, the overall effect leads to a roughly 2.8% increase in receipts in 2030.
